Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and is sure to run well. SMARTY NOSE (3) built on a nice second two starts back at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) with a win as favourite over 4f124yards at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) three weeks ago, getting home by 1.5 lengths. Looks well placed so expect another big run. BIG CHEDDAR (5) finished second two runs back at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths as public elect over 4½f at Los Alamitos Qh (Dirt). Edgar Payeras scored on him last time and retains the ride. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge.
