D'ORO STAR (1) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 7f at this track. Is in top form this campaign, chalking-up two wins. Should be in the finish. THESPIAN WATERS (5) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 1m in the LR Tasmanian Guineas at Hobart. Nicely placed and expected to go well. ARUMA (8) was safely held when fourth last time out over 6f at Hobart, beaten 4.5 lengths. That followed a win at Hobart at the previous outing. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. DARK JOURNEY (2) was in the firing line on the bend and finished third last time over 6f at Moonee Valley, beaten 0.7 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
