Group 3 winner YELLOW SAM (4) is a five-time winner who has been at the top of her game of late, scoring by half a length last time out over 6f at Hobart. Has a strong record at this journey and should go well again. JENNY JEROME (3) closed off strongly last start to get up for third, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 7f at Caulfield. Tougher company here but she is right in this. Group 3 placegetter ALVARINHO (8) had been in sparkling form winning two races on end but was just edged out most recently when second over 6f at Hobart. Hard to knock and is a winning chance. JAGUAR STONE (5) has been thereabouts recently, the latest result a fifth beaten 1.5 lengths in the G3 Mystic Journey Stakes at Hobart over 6f. Has never missed the frame at this venue, including two wins. Must be respected.
