INORDINATE (5) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m2f at Colac last start after being in the firing line on the corner, a less impressive effort than his fifth at Mornington the run before. This is a nice drop in grade so he is set to turn things around. A BLUE STAR (1) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Terang over 1m1 1/4f, beaten 0.8 lengths. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Will find this assignment a little tougher but should be in the finish. MODERNISSIMO (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7½f at Bendigo, beaten 5 lengths. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. DOCTOR ROBERT (4) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m1 1/2f at this track. Suitably placed so he can be prominent again.
