PRESERVATOR (4) debuted three-and-a-half weeks ago and was well supported when he finished sixth over 1m at Stawell, beaten 12 lengths. Expected to be very competitive. WILLINGLY (10) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Yarra Valley when third, beaten 2 lengths. Will benefit from that experience so another top-three finish is on the cards. SNAPPY PIERRO (6) was in the money two starts back at Bendigo then missed the frame but was not too far away last time over 7f95yards at this track. Has a high cruising speed. Has ability and rates among the chances.
