TORONADO ROUGE (5) turned in a moderate midfield finish when resuming from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Should camp just off the leaders. Among the leading chances. FIXATED (12) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 4.5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 7f at Eagle Farm. Has the class to take care of this field. MA'S EPIC (17) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 6f at Gold Coast Poly. Must raise the bar but another big run will not surprise. BUTCH'N'BUGS (1) turned in another moderate effort last start when 4 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m1/2f at Gold Coast. Well placed to make amends.
