CAPITAL REIGN (3) was well supported when resuming last time out over 4½f at Roma and proved too strong, scoring by 1.3 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and is a great chance to get the prize again. BECAUSE THE NIGHT (7) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at Toowoomba, beaten 1.2 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. CABRINELLA (8) is putting together some solid results. Finished third at Toowoomba two starts back then scored by a nose last time out over 5f at Sunshine Coast. Bailey Wheeler scored on her last time and retains the ride. Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. FLAMING CONQUEST (1) returns from a layoff of five months. Scored over 4f at this track to launch the last campaign. Has to be respected.
