BEAU STRADA (7) missed the frame on debut then progressed nicely at her second outing when in the firing line on the corner, finishing a nose from the winner in second at the end of 5½f at Traralgon. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. BURLEIGH (1) was in commission second up last start and was in the frame for the second time in as many runs this prep, finishing third over 6½f at Ararat. Fitter and should be in the finish again. MISS ELLANEOUS (11) finished 6 lengths adrift in ninth when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Geelong. Drawn to stalk the leaders. One of the main contenders. HAND LUGGAGE (8) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Ararat, beaten 5 lengths into fourth. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake.
