BIG SISTER AVA (11) has raced twice. Was second on debut then clocked-in 2. 25 lengths from the winner in seventh last time out over 1m at Ballarat. Will drift back but wind up late. Better than the last effort and deserves another chance. KINGSFORD (3) lifted strongly only to just miss when fresh from a lay-off last start over 7f at Warrnambool. Will take a lot from that hitout. Placed to advantage and can take this out. WEST FORTY SEVENTH (8) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then was beaten 3. 5 lengths when ninth in a 7f contest at Ballarat two-and-a-half weeks ago. Beautifully placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. STOLEN STOCK (6) finished second at St Arnaud two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m at this track, finishing 11 lengths back in tenth. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects.
