SAXINOUE (8) improved last time out, finishing 1.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 7¾f at Murwillumbah after being prominent at the bend. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is one of the key runners. CARACORON (13) finished 2.25 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6¾f at Doomben when when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. This is far easier. Well placed so expecting a strong run. MONTE MAXIMUS (2) proved too strong two runs ago at Casino. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 7½f at Rosehill, beaten 3 lengths. Finds the right race this time and can return to winning ways. TO BE FRANK (3) is a distance specialist who turned in a much better effort last time out to score by a nose over 7f at Tamworth. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
