SIGLO DE ORO (6) took advantage of the good draw last start and was in the firing line for much of the way before being swamped in the run home, finishing 11th and beaten 7 lengths over 5f at Eagle Farm. Expected to do much better. CHAMPAGNE TONIGHT (3) turned in a good effort on debut nine months ago when 1.75 lengths away in third at Cranbourne over 5f. Has not been to the races since that outing. In the placings in a recent Pakenham trial. Awkward draw to contend with but can feature again. SIVO (18) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 2 lengths, over 5f at Coffs Harbour. Well placed and is among the chances. ROCK ON ANGEL (8) is resuming from a lay-off of ten months and having her first run for the Stephen Lee yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Sunshine Coast over 5f. Fitter for a fourth in a recent trial over 5f at Murwillumbah.
