BEYOND MY KEN (5) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish seventh, beaten 4 lengths, last start over 6f at Scone. Well placed and expected to feature. CITY GOLD SPEED (3) was safely held when eighth last time out over 5f207yards at this track, beaten 5 lengths after being prominent at the turn. That followed a win at Inverell at the previous outing. Nicely placed to take this out. ANOTHER WISH (15) did little and finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in sixth over 7f at Coffs Harbour last start, a less impressive effort than his fifth at this track the run before. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. STAR AMBITION (2) is a three-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Toby Edmonds stable. Finished off last campaign with a seventh at Gold Coast five months ago. Effortless trial winner and is in a nice race. Has to be respected.
