AYE AYE SKIPPER (8) is racing well and is close to a win, the latest effort a solid second at Coffs Harbour over 6f after being prominent from the outset. Drawn to go forward. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. SAMMY CONQUERS ALL (1) finished fourth two runs back at Eagle Farm then improved last time out to score by 1.3 lengths as public elect after being prominent at the turn over 6f at Coffs Harbour. Looks well placed so expect another big run. MONTE MAXIMUS (3) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Rosehill and beaten 3 lengths. Faces a far less daunting assignment this time. Well placed and is one of the contenders. CLUEDO (5) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 2 lengths over 7f at Taree. Fitter for that last hitout and she can measure up again.
