BULL DIMPLE RUM (3) gave away a considerable start over 6¾f at Ipswich last time before hitting the line well to finish fifth. Will be tough to hold out. UNLEASH (6) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6½f at Toowoomba. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. EVERLAST (4) was never in contention when 8 lengths from the winner in eighth over 1m at Sunshine Coast Poly last start, a less impressive effort than his seventh at this track the run before. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is likely to play a big role. GOLD MERCHANT (1) has not appeared since he finished 11th over 1m3 1/4f at Grafton on October 24. Among the better hopes.
