Race Tip

HASTEN DELIGHT (2) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when ninth over 6f at this track after he was prominent at the corner. Will strip fitter and is the one they have to beat. SURFERS ROYALE (10) is yet to fill a placing in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when seventh over 6f at Eagle Farm after he was in the firing line on the turn. Cherry-ripe now and is expected to do much better. I SEE YOU COMING (5) turned in a eye-catching run last start over 6f at Eagle Farm, winding up hard from well back on straightening to finish a close third. One of the main contenders. CASPERNOVA (4) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1. 75 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6½f at Gold Coast. Takes on a tougher assignment but must be respected.
