Race Tip

SEQUEL (9) is a five-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Newcastle over 6f, beaten 3 lengths. Improvement to come and this is her chance to break through. TILIA (12) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Eagle Farm, beaten 8 lengths. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CARAMELFUDGESUNDAE (5) has been in the placings at both runs this prep, most recently a closing third over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Must be respected. SHORTCUT (10) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a fourth over 5½f at Ipswich. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Ballina trial. Has ability and is worth including.
