Race Tip

Set Weights AG (12) hasn't raced since finishing eighth at Kembla Grange and has been gelded in the break. Ran fifth in a trial at Gold Coast over 4¼f. Tends to run well fresh having placed two times from two starts. Expected to go close. ARMES (5) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten a long neck into third over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Likely to push forward and race on the pace. Best figures should see him run well. ODIN'S MOUNT (10) made progress last start to finish second over 6f at Eagle Farm after being in contention on the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ELROND (1) could only manage to finish sixth, beaten 5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 7f at Beaudesert. Should be about the money.
