THE YACHTSMAN (7) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Benalla with a win over 1m4 1f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. INTHELAPOFTHEGODS (2) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Wangaratta two starts back then landed the prize by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1m3f at Bairnsdale. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. JEKYLL'N'HYDE (8) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fifth at Sandown-Lakeside and beaten 5 lengths. Meets easier opposition this time. Sure to be competitive. MAC KALHOUN (9) turned in a decent effort last start to finish third over 1m4 1f at this track. Looks to be in the right race so he should be in contention again.
