CAPRICORN STAR (9) has been in the placings at her last two starts, finishing second last time when she was prominent throughout over 6½f at this track. Finds a suitable assignment and can take the next step and salute. BRAVUE (1) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 6 lengths away in sixth over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Has the class to find the winners' list. HOSHI PRINCESS (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 8 lengths away in fifth over 1m at Stony Creek. Meets some better types this time but a win is not out of the question. ASPENADO (8) is a 10-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 8 lengths when ninth over 6½f at this track. Reunites with Craig Newitt who has been in the money two times when aboard. Deserves respect.
