BALKANS (1) settled well back but hit the line hard to win by 1.5 lengths over this course and distance when when resuming from a layoff last start. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. RUSH HOUR (3) was in contention on the bend and finished third last time over 6f at Rosehill, beaten 3 lengths. Has the class to find winning ways. MAFIA (4) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 2 lengths back in fifth over 5f at Warwick Farm. Can feature in the finish.
