WA WA WA (3) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in third over 6¼f at Randwick Kensington. Has upside and can open his account. CENTURY SONG (4) was well-fancied last time out but could only manage second over 6½f nine days ago. Strong run last time and shapes as a major threat. SHERIFF'S STAR (7) raced on the speed before fading to finish fourth last start when resuming over 6f at Newcastle. Takes on a tougher assignment but shapes as one to consider. KOIOS (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5¾f at Randwick Kensington, beaten a head after being prominent at the turn. Strips fitter and should be thereabouts.
