LEXINGTON CITY (2) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths at Pinjarra over 5f. Faces an easier assignment so he is likely to play a big role. GINNIVAN (5) gave a great sight last time over 5f at Bunbury when he raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. Has a win and two minor placings at this journey from four starts and is capable of going well. RUPERT'S EMPIRE (4) raced on the speed when resuming last start and battled on well but found one better over 5f at this track. Good record at this journey with two wins and three minor placings from six starts and cannot be overlooked.
