RUSSIAN TO THE BAR (1) made it three wins in succession last start when he scored by 0.8 lengths over 7½f in the LR Challenge Stakes at this track. Winning rider Chris Parnham retains the mount. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. AUTUMN REBEL (4) was flying with three wins in a row before being sent out favourite last time and finishing seventh over 1m1/2f at Bunbury. Takes on a far tougher assignment but a bold showing is expected. A LOT OF GOOD MEN (2) Group 2 placegetter. Did a good job last start to finish third in the LR Challenge Stakes at this track over 7½f, beaten one length. Record at this track is strong. Sure to be competitive. ROYAL TORONADO (6) settled well back and never threatened when fifth over 7½f in the LR Challenge Stakes at this track just a week-and-a-half ago. Should be in the mix in this suitable race.
