Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. CALAMITY FOX (3) finished third two runs back at Moree then improved last time out to score by 1.4 lengths over 5½f at this track. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. PURPLE ESPRIT (7) finished sixth over 5f at Tamworth when resuming last start, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. RINNERO (9) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths at Bowraville over 5f. Has started three times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Finds a nice race and can atone.
