APACHE JACK (5) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 1.5 lengths away in third over 7f at Tamworth. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. PENINSULA (1) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 6f at Tamworth in a tougher race. Promising type with improvement to come so he should be in the finish again. HARDASH (3) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.1 lengths from the winner in third over 1m1/2f at Grafton. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. SANTOS EL HALPER (11) failed to make an impression last time out, settling well back and finishing seventh over 7f at Grafton. Rates strongly on best and has the winkers removed here. Could sneak into the finish.
