Gets a better gate this time so looks the testing material. NORTHERN BOOGIE (1) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 5½f at this track. Must raise the bar but a big run will not surprise. ANARITA (14) resumes from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish tenth at the latest run over 6½f at Newcastle. Has trialled well leading into this. Has ability and is a leading player. TAKEOVER LAD (7) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of five months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Scone. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
