KENTUCKY NICK (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Moonee Valley, finishing fourth and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 1m4 1/2f. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. OBSESSIVE MAID (4) showed good early dash last time out and led for most of the way before being claimed and finishing 1.1 lengths away in third over 1m1 1/4f at Terang. Should go well. HERE WITH ME (7) finished 3 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m1 1/4f at Kyneton three-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Should be poised just off the lead. One to consider. TEKAPO (2) was comfortably accounted for when fifth last time out over 1m3f at Hamilton, beaten 4 lengths, after a win at Great Western at the previous outing. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
