ELEGANCIA (13) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 2.25 lengths from the winner in second over 5f124yards at Werribee. Likely improver who is expected to be in the finish. ALISENT (10) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish third over 6½f at this track. Will be very hard to beat with that run under the belt. SEGMENT (3) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fourth, beaten 3.5 lengths, over 6f at Benalla. Another bold showing is expected. RUNAWAY SOUL (8) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5½f at Hamilton, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will strip fitter this time. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
