Leading contender. RECON (4) drifted well back before winding up strongly to score an effortless 2 lengths win over 5f185yards at Wangaratta last time out. In form and will take beating again. FINGERS HUNTER (6) showed good early dash and led throughout to score by 2 lengths last time out over 1m at Tamworth. Another bold showing expected. CONCHIERO (1) accounted for a maiden field over 7f at Warwick Farm last start, finishing 1.4 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
