BURGUNDY GIRL (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when eighth, beaten 4 lengths, over 1m2f in the LR Canberra Cup. Perfectly placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. SCANDOVAL (2) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better at Pakenham over 1m2f, beaten 1.3 lengths. Will find this a little easier than last time. Best form puts him right in this. NO RUMOURS (4) steps up in trip after scoring last time by half a length over 1m2f at Ballarat on February 23. Gets some weight relief this time so he is one of the contenders again. KILKENNY LASS (6) was a winner over 1m2f at Wangaratta last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by a nose. Can figure in the finish again.
