MONTE VEEBEE (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 02/10/2024, finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 7f at Rosehill. Rates highly and should take some beating. DUBAI DARLING (11) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6f at Newcastle when third, beaten 1.1 lengths. Has a wide gate to overcome but she will prove tough to beat. HOLLERLOUD (2) pushed forward from a wide draw when when resuming from a break last time out and found the front, holding the lead for most of the way and sticking on well to finish second over 5f at Corowa. Bold showing expected. ANTIDOTE (8) was in the firing line on the corner and finished third last start over 4f152yards at Towong, beaten 1.75 lengths. Fitter for that run. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
