DAZE OFF (2) turned in a moderate midfield finish when resuming from a lay-off three weeks ago over 6f at Wagga. Good record at this journey with two wins and a placing from four starts and is among the leading chances. SCHIMMELBUSCH (5) recorded his first win last start over 6f at Echuca, getting home by a long neck. Re-unites with Lachlan King who was on board last start. Harder this time but still one to consider. FOURTHTIMELUCKY (9) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Wagga, finishing fifth and beaten 1.2 lengths over 5f. Nicely placed to make amends.
