REBELS (4) hit the frame two starts ago at Mornington but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 4 lengths over 7f134yards at Moonee Valley. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. EL DIEZ (12) last appeared when he failed to finish on July 21 at Pakenham. One of the genuine hopes in the race. COSMIC COCO (2) is yet to find the frame in two runs since resuming from a lay-off, the latest when fifth over 7f at Pakenham after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Will strip fitter and is expected to do much better. ESKIMO (1) fought on for second last start over 7f134yards at Moonee Valley, beaten 3.5 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time.
