HEAVENLY EAGLE (8) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to finish 0.7 lengths away in third over 6½f at Bendigo. Can get home over the top this time. GRONKOWSKI (2) showed good early speed from the inside draw last start before finishing third over 6f at Pakenham. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. KODIAK (1) showed good speed and fought on for third over 7f at Sandown-Hillside last time. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and a minor placing from three starts. Shapes as one to consider. CROWN CRUSHER (7) was below his best last time, finishing 11th and beaten 4 lengths over 1m at Caulfield. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
