MISLEAD (7) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when fifth over 1m in the G2 Kewney Stakes at Flemington. Will find this easier. Likely to feature. FIRE OF ETNA (3) finished third two runs back at Moonee Valley then improved last time out to score by one length as public elect over 7½f at Sandown-Hillside. Luke Currie scored on her last time and retains the mount. This looks a sterner test than last time but on current form she is one of the chief contenders. HOOAH HAVANA (2) finished third at Flemington two runs back but was less effective last time over 7f at Sandown-Hillside, finishing 2.5 lengths back in eighth. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he can win if at his best. PRINCESS MARY (5) recorded her first win when resuming last start over 6½f at Bendigo, getting home by one length. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Re-unites with Thomas Stockdale who was on board last start. One of the likely contenders despite the step up in grade.
