KOKORO (3) was beaten for early speed and didn't come into contention when a disappointing tenth over 1m2f at Caulfield most recently. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done. TYNDRUM GOLD (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7f at Jerilderie, beaten 3 lengths. Has a very strong second up record. Meets a stronger field but he is fitter and good enough to feature. BELLAKAI (5) is on a quick turnaround after a moderate ninth over 1m2f at St Arnaud a week ago. Capable of putting that recent failure behind her. MAKTOOB (1) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a lay-off then again missed the frame last start over 1m1 1/4f at Avoca, beaten 14 lengths into eighth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
