Will be handy in the run and should prove hard to run down. ROYAL INFANTRY (9) ran on strongly only to just miss when fresh from a lay-off last start over 6½f at Avoca. Will strip a lot fitter this time around. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CALUSA'S FURY (1) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 1. 4 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7¾f at St Arnaud. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. KISS'N DANCE (3) is back from a lay-off of five months. Closed last prep with a ninth, beaten 8 lengths, over 7f at Hamilton. One of the key contenders.
