AMAWASHA (3) recorded a strong maiden win over 1m4 3/4f at Pakenham last time, getting there by 4.5 lengths. Looks well placed and he is a key runner. MASTER POLANSKI (8) finished out of the money two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 2.25 lengths when fifth in a 1m2 1/2f contest at Benalla three weeks ago. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. ELOPED (13) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Ararat, beaten 7 lengths into fourth. Nicely placed to get the prize. ZEUSMAS (10) was safely held when tenth last time out over 1m3f at Bairnsdale, beaten 9 lengths, after a win at Stony Creek at the previous outing. In the mix.
