RUSSIAN SUMMER (2) got the prize two runs ago at Bendigo. Less impressive last time out when 11th over 6f131yards at Geelong, beaten 7 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ALL THE WAY BABY (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1.1 lengths over 7f at Terang. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. ALTERNATE (5) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at Avoca, beaten one length. Fitter for that run. Likely improver with top-three claims again.
