WATS NORMAL (11) wound up strongly but just failed to pick up the winner when when resuming as favourite last start over 6½f at Avoca. Will take a lot from that hitout. Going well and has strong prospects. MIDNIGHT MIRACLE (14) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 3.5 lengths when eighth over 7f at Cranbourne two weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so she is perfectly placed to score. ALL BUSINESS (13) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when fifth over 7f at Ballarat two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the bend. Likely improver with strong prospects. MEET THE WIFE (12) was out of the money on debut two runs back then again missed the frame last start when she was always well out of her ground over 6f131yards at Geelong, beaten 4.5 lengths into ninth. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well.
