Race Tip

ERION (2) made progress last time out, finishing 2. 75 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 6f at Cowra after being in contention on the turn. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. VADELLE (12) finished out of the money on debut two starts back then he was never in contention and was beaten 3 lengths when sixth in a 5½f contest at Kilmore five weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. PENCILLER (11) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of six months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5f at Dubbo. Commenced last prep with a minor placing at this track over 4½f. One of the leading chances. HABIB ALBI (7) turned in a moderate debut over 5f at Hawkesbury on February 19 when he was safely held in sixth, 8 lengths from the winner. Plenty of scope for improvement. Can feature in the finish.
