FAST BLUE (12) is yet to break through after three career starts. Could only manage to finish fifth last time out over 5f at Scone following a minor placing at Newcastle over 4½f the run prior. Can break through in this suitable contest. NASTY STREAK (9) finished 2 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 5½f at Mudgee, an improvement on his fifth at Canberra the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. GOODBYE STRANGER (8) was always well back on debut last start but boxed on fairly to finish fourth over 5f at Goulburn. Not to be discounted. CHEAP GAS (6) resumes from a lay-off of ten weeks. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 6f at Bathurst. Placed in a recent trial. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
