CRYPTIC SOUND (12) made considerable ground in the run home to finish third last start over 6½f at Toowoomba. Can run over the top of them late. KAREEM (4) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest eighth at Gold Coast Poly over 1m1 1/2f. Rates highly in this line up. Gets his chance. MALTALI (8) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 6f at Sunshine Coast. Sure to be thereabouts. TOUCH OF GRACIE (7) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 1.5 lengths from the winner in second over 6½f at Toowoomba. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort.
