EAGLE'S FIRE (6) showed good early muster and fought on to finish second last start over 5f at Gold Coast. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. CUTTING EDGE (3) finished 2.25 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at Gold Coast after being in the firing line on the bend three weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Bold showing expected. I'LLTELLYOUGO (1) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 3.5 lengths when sixth over 5½f at Lismore eight days ago after being in the firing line on the turn. Won't find this as tough so she is perfectly placed to score. REIGNING ALPHA (2) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5f at Toowoomba, beaten 3.5 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
