Fitter and well-placed to turn things around. RAGING (2) returns from a lay-off of 11 months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished seventh in the LR Festival of Racing Stakes at Flemington over 5f when when resuming last time in work. Will be fit enough for this following a recent trial win. Sure to be primed for this and a bold showing is anticipated. MARATHIA (10) is a maiden galloper who hasn't raced since finishing 4 lengths back in fourth over 5f at Goulburn five-and-a-half months ago. Sharpened for this with a placing in a recent trial. Should be competitive. CROATIAN QUEEN (9) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4 lengths when fourth over 4f at Ipswich. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
