Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. CRYPTIC SOUND (11) resumes from a lay-off of eight months. Could only manage to finish fourth at the latest run over 6¾f at Ipswich. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Toowoomba Inner Track. Nicely placed and expected to go well. SKIEDA (12) returns from a lay-off of nine months and is having her first run for a new yard. Finished fifth at Toowoomba over 6f when when resuming last time in work. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Sunshine Coast Inner Track trial. Has found the right race and is worth including. FIRE AND LIGHT (16) finished 3.5 lengths from the winner in fourth after being prominent at the corner at his most recent outing over 7f at Dalby. Cannot be ruled out in this suitable assignment.
