NAUGHTY WORDS (7) turned in a modest performance when eighth last start over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 4 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Toowoomba. Beautifully placed and is sure to bounce back to form. TYPHOON TIP (9) comes here off a last-start fourth, beaten 6 lengths, over 1m at Gatton. Looms large. THREE GONGS (3) hit the frame when resuming two runs back at Bell but couldn't back it up last start when sixth, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 7f at Dalby. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. EARL OF DEVON (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only 0.8 lengths over 6f at Toowoomba. Nicely placed to play a big role.
