EVERCLEAR (16) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on February 24 finishing fifth and beaten 8 lengths over 1m1 1/2f at Toowoomba. Looks a winning chance. DAWN PARTY (13) returns after three-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 1m1/4f at Doomben. Launched last prep with a minor placing at Sunshine Coast over 7f. Placed in a recent trial. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. SPIRIT OF HEATH (5) was narrowly beaten into third when second up last start at Sunshine Coast Poly over 7f. Backmarker who gets home hard. A big run is expected.
