Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. LAVANDULA (6) saluted last start at Seymour over this distance after she was in contention on the bend. Boasts excellent form at this trip with three wins from three starts. Best form puts her right in this FORAGOODCAUSE (9) is a genuine type with five minor placings from five starts this campaign. Was well back on straightening before closing well to finish 2 lengths from the winner in third last time out over 5½f at Geelong. Finds a tougher race but he has the ability to test this field. BINE (5) progressed nicely last time out to finish just 2 lengths from the winner in third over 5f at Caulfield Heath. Looks to be in the right race so she should be in contention again.
