SPRING PROSPECT (2) could only manage second as favourite last start over 5½f at Dubbo after being well positioned to strike on the bend, making it three minor placings from three starts this campaign. Likely to feature. MANWARI (1) is a six-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 3.5 lengths when fifth over 5f at Moruya. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come. GETTIN' TIPSY (7) produced another moderate effort last start when 9 lengths from the winner in 12th over 7f at Dubbo. No surprise to see her in the frame.
